⁶ I ^(A)stretch out my hands to You;
My ^(B)soul reaches for You like a weary land. ^[a]Selah.

^7 (C)Answer me quickly, O Yahweh, my ^(D)spirit wastes away;
^(E)Do not hide Your face from me,
Or I will become like ^(F)those who go down to the pit.
⁸ Cause me to hear Your ^(G)lovingkindness ^(H)in the morning;
For I trust ^(I)in You;
Cause me to know the ^(J)way in which I should walk;
For to You I ^(K)lift up my soul.
